my my my.............

Maaan, I’m so sleepy.
I have been using don’t-know-whose wireless network to connect.. Freebies are nice!
I haven’t done my calculus homework! Oh, correction. I have not finished it.
Maaaan, why am I still lazy??

Tomorrow should be a free day to me.. I got no lectures at all..
Buuuttt…
Here is the summary of the calendar notes in my new hp (nokia n70!)

10.00 AM-11.00 AM
Briefing session SMUKI
SoA seminar room 3.1

11.00 AM
Calculus homework hand-in
Outside library- hand to Kian Boon

4.00 PM
TG Briefing
Administration Building level 5, Conference Hall

5.00 PM
ISCF Welcome Tea
SESS Classroom 3.4

See? All overlapping…
I’m really glad my mother bought me this hp which can hold so many calendar notes.. Gah. I really am busy…

And why am I still blogging instead of finishing that damn calculus homework??

My, my. I guess I haven’t changed after all.

Sooo, why don’t I tell you a story about me settling down here in S’pore?
Getting used to the Singlish.. (in fact, getting contaminated)
Getting used to p-a-r-t-i-c-i-p-a-t-e! Despite my sleepiness, especially at the 8.30 class..
Getting used to 3 (THREE) hours of lecture… (and sometimes more)
Getting used to walk into and out of buses, and tolerate their VIOLENT braking. (I swear it could make me fly to the front)
Getting used to be approached by a person and spoken to in Mandarin, and getting used to answer “Sorry, I don’t speak Mandarin”. (and they will frown. Why? See my face!)
Getting used to hear Indonesian spoken everywhere despite being out of Indonesia. (this is for real. I think Singapore’s been invaded. And I’m one of the invaders!!! =D)
Having said the before, I’m getting used to hear “Ya ampun, lo orang Indonesia juga?” after asking in English “Where are you from?”

Oh yeah, btw, my fave phrase if I’m told to introduce myself is:
“Hello all, my name is Sylvia. I am Indonesian, although I know I don’t look like one.”
Actually I wanna add it, to become like this:
“Hello all, my name is Sylvia. I know it’s short, but, less is more! I was born in Indonesia, but sometimes it just wasn’t enough to make me an Indonesian. Uhm, if you know what I mean. But still, I am Indonesian, so don’t speak Mandarin to me. Anyway, nice to meet you all.”
Haha. I never did it. Besides, there would be no introductions anymore.. I’ve passed all first classes. (and I always used my fave phrase)

I guess that’s all tonight.. Veeerrry sleepy.
Bye!
